Google Maps for PocketPC Windows Mobile : Free Portable Street Directory

Gotta love Google and their attempts to invade every part of our lives...but in the case of Google Maps for Windows Mobile, I approve!

Just downloaded my free version from Handango today. I actually thought that it would store frequently sought after locations however it actually utilises Internet connections, in my case Telstra NextG/3G network to download map data.

One of the neat features of PocketPC Google Maps is that you can search for businesses in the local area, e.g. search 'pizza' and little flags pop up in the area of where pizza businesses are. It even displays phone numbers...now that's handy.

As mentioned in the heading...it's free!!

No brainer - if you have a PocketPC with Windows Mobile download Google Maps!
