 Mark's post on the Sandisk Extreme 4 Compact Flash 2GB, reminded me of how special these range of cards are. As he highlighted, the two outstanding points about this card are its extreme data read and write times and its ability to withstand extreme temperatures. I've been using an Ultra II compact flash card in my dSLR and it's been a consistent and reliable memory card. With the Extreme IV range, Sandisk have upped the ante.  Compact Flash to PCMCIA adapters have been a decent seller in recent times. Not so sure why, must be a laptop owner thing. I usually just use a memory card reader. But to each his own.
