Palm Treo 750v Screen Protector: Another one of those funny square screens!

Palm Treo 750v Screen Protector Product PageKeeping up with the Johnson's, we have now added the Palm Treo 750v Screen Protectors. It's another one of those smartphones with the funny square screens but whether its rectangular, square or what not, we believe that any LCD screen should be protected. Especially ones where it's a touch screen. I've had the same screen protector for my Dopod 838 Pro and before that on my trusty old XDA II Mini and wouldn't trust any other brand. As many of you would know, the package only comes with one screen protector rather than the traditional 12 pack but it will probably out last any 12 pack out there. Easy to apply, great protection. It's an essential when it comes to my list of accessories for a PDA/smartphone.

The Mr.Gadget screen protectors use CrystalClear technology:
CrystalClear screen protectors are designed to provide the highest transparency for applications where light diffusion is not tolerable. Many PDAs do not have strong backlighting and therefore the attached light source may be too dim to use with GlareFree screen protectors. CrystalClear allows the attached light source to shine through while the surface layer protects against abrasions from the stylus.

CrystalClear offers a smooth and crisp writing surface similar to the original PDA screen. The hard coating is highly durable and protects the original screen against all kinds of scratches and abrasions from keys, coins and other sharp objects. CrystalClear feels and looks like the original screen and is highly transparent. Users who prefer the touch and feel of the original screen will choose CrystalClear.

Windows Mobile 6 (WM6) : More stable, more features

One of the biggest gripes people had with Windows Mobile 5 (WM5) was its instability and lack lustre performance - it would crash your pocketPC at the most inconvenient times. Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6 (WM6) has been reported to be much more stable and faster, much to the delight of users like myself. The other major upgrades are messaging enchancements and the addition of Office Mobile which allows for the creation and viewing of Office Mobile documents.

Here are a list of enhancements that come with Windows Mobile 6 (WM6):

- Today Screen has a Vista look
- Office Mobile : Attachment viewing and creation (creation only available with PocketPC version)
- Email: Search and Shortcuts
- Windows Live for Windows Mobile IM
- Improved Calendar

You should start seeing WM6 on all the upcoming pocketPC and smartphone models.
