Gmail for mobile 2.0 for BlackBerry and J2ME-supported phones is now available. The new iteration of the Gmail client for mobile phones introduces a few new features which, while not earth-shattering, are useful and can make lives easier.
Well, at least your lives related to emailing (which could take a huge chunk of your everyday routine if you’re like me). Aside from the usual improvements when it comes to performance and speed, the new client allows you to login to multiple Gmail accounts at any one time. Reading emails and creating drafts when there’s no mobile internet signal is also possible, plus there are new shortcut keys that will do a lot for those with QWERTY keypads. Not all of these new features will work on all phones, though. To download the Gmail for Mobile 2.0, go to m.google.com/mail on your mobile phone.
