The Belkin Wireless Pre-N Notebook Network Card connects your notebook computer to your wireless network with new Belkin Pre-N technology. It lets you share your broadband Internet connection farther and faster than ever. Featuring smart antenna technology, the Pre-N design helps combat distortion and interference so the Network Card can send its data streams greater distances, more reliably.

With a Belkin Wireless Pre-N Router as the central connection point of your network, your computers can share your high-speed Internet account as well as files, printers, and hard drives. While on the road, you can use the Belkin Wireless Pre-N Network Notebook/Laptop Card to connect to any of the increasingly available public wireless hotspots found in airports, coffee shops and hotels. (For these connections, you do not need a wireless router).

Belkin's Pre-N technology offers backward compatibility with existing 802.11g and 802.11b products, to provide seamless integration into existing wireless networks. In fact, its advanced technology enables Belkin Pre-N products to significantly improve the performance of standard 802.11g and 802.11b devices in the mixed network environment.

Advantages/Features of the Belkin Pre-N Wireless Network Notebook/Laptop Card:

*800% greater coverage than standard 802.11g - Belkin Pre-N provides the industry's best wireless coverage, extending your range with improved reliability and fewer drops.
*600% greater speeds than standard 802.11g - Belkin Pre-N provides the industry's fastest wireless connection for gaming, streaming video, Voice over IP, and moving large files efficiently and quickly between all the devices in your networked home.
*Improved performance of standard 802.11g and 802.11b networking devices - Using a Belkin Pre-N Router or Card with an older 802.11g or 802.11b networking product increases wireless coverage up to 20%.
*Improved resistance to wireless interference - Belkin Pre-N products sense potential interference and dynamically shift to the clearest wireless channel available.
*Belkin Pre-N products do not drop to the lowest networking speed in a mixed-mode environment - If a standard 802.11g or 802.11b device is introduced into a Belkin Pre-N network.
*The Belkin Pre-N product will not drop to the standard 802.11g or 802.11b speeds - Belkin Pre-N products will continue to transmit at a link rate of 108Mbps, a result competing products cannot achieve.
*Advanced Security - Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) support provides enhanced encryption protecting your wireless network.

4 Wisdom Teeth pulled out, 13 needles, 6 stitches - My Mouth Hurts!

Today I tested my pain threshold and had all my wisdom teeth removed. Initially, it was only supposed to be the two teeth on my left but after my dentist enlightened me with the fact that I would have to go through the same ordeal for the other two, I promptly requested him to take all 4 out!

The first tooth (bottom right) was not so bad after all the numbing injections and the top two were also very cooperative. Watching Huey's cooking show also helped as I focused on his creation of culinery delights.

However, old faithful in the bottom left of my jaw was a little resistant - there was a little bit of shuffling around as the nurse held my head, Nish my dentist "pushed" with his metal contraption and me trying to stay still! It didn't help that I did not take the prescribed anti-biotics for this tooth when it ached three weeks ago; the infection was still there and countered the anesthetic. To my surprise, I actually felt this tooth being wrenched out of my jaw. Thankfully, the "knockout punch" was quick!

Phew, I was glad it was all over and all done in around 90 minutes! Nish gave me my panadeine prescription and I was actually well enough to drive to my local pharmacist to pick up the drugs. I got some funny looks by other shoppers though - have you ever seen an asian chipmunk? :)

Here I sit back at the computer after taking one capsule, had soup through a straw and a couple hours of sleep. I feel quite good actually despite some pangs from my newly formed jaw holes... Thank God for the relief from the pain He's provided. Actually reading a book by Sipley on Understanding Divine Healing...just in time :)

**Note: For anyone who needs a good dentist in the Sydenham, Taylors Lakes or Keilor area, head down to the Sydenham Dental Group on Keilor Melton Highway and ask for Nish!
