One of the selling points of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 is its interchangeable home screens to replace the original Windows Mobile one. It’s supposedly one of its edges against other WinMo smartphones. Social networking junkies would definitely find this home screen created specifically for Facebook appealing.

Here’s a video demo of the Touchflo 3D interface on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. I love how quick and responsive most components of the interface are. It’s been quite a while since I’ve seen a Windows Mobile device move so quickly. Video also proves that you can do everything without the keyboard!

Its metallic finish and compact size make it look very groovy indeed. Boots up a lot faster than my old WM device. UI also looks like it’s improved somewhat. Better hurry up and release it though SE, before a whole new swag of better specced smartphones get launched.
