Android users rejoice! Skype is now available for Android!

I know if I was using an Android device (right now my choice would be the HTC Desire Z)  I’d be reading through this blog post as fast as possible then zipping over to download it. I use Skype everyday so it’s a mandatory app in my kit!

Skype works well for me for the computer, but I’ve heard much flak about its mobile version. Nevertheless, those who are looking for a working VoIP for their Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphones now have Skype as a choice.

Sound quality is great with no noticeable delay when using the SkypeOut service to make a call. The phone is programmable to ask which method you would like to use to make the outbound call, either Skype or your Landline, or you can make either method the default for every call.
