As mentioned last month, the HTC Desire HD is not too far away. In fact, for Australia, the HTC Desire HD will be available exclusively through Vodafone and 3 next month.

My prediction is that this Android smartphone will be one of the holiday season’s top sellers!

Life just got a lot easier for Vodafone Australia prepaid users. Mobile prepaid recharge is now possible directly online through PayPal, as long as you have an account with the online payment portal. At last the BlackBerry Storm’s officially arriving in Australia come December 1, 2008. And, in accordance to the imminent release date, Vodafone announced the pricing plans associated with the device. The Storm will be offered free on Vodafone’s Internet Data Cap plans.

Gizmodo, has just been tipped off by a Verizon employee that the Blackberry Storm will be available on November 14! Expect things to start warming up in the iPhone 3G / T-Mobile G1 dominated arena.

Vodafone already has an existing 3G network that’s also partially-owned by Optus. That’s only 63% of the telco’s intended total network coverage though. The plan was to get the rest of the network ready by Christmas, but it will take a few more months before it rolls out.
