As mentioned last month, the HTC Desire HD is not too far away. In fact, for Australia, the HTC Desire HD will be available exclusively through Vodafone and 3 next month.
My prediction is that this Android smartphone will be one of the holiday season’s top sellers!

Life just got a lot easier for Vodafone Australia prepaid users. Mobile prepaid recharge is now possible directly online through PayPal, as long as you have an account with the online payment portal. If you’re only just registering a new PayPal account, you have to verify it first to be able to use it with the Vodafone live! mobile content portal.
Vodafone already has an existing 3G network that’s also partially-owned by Optus. That’s only 63% of the telco’s intended total network coverage though. The plan was to get the rest of the network ready by Christmas, but it will take a few more months before it rolls out.
A music subscription service will be launched in Australia by Vodafone and will be available to all the company’s 3G subscribers. Called the MusicStation, it lets users download as much music as they want for a weekly fee of AU$2.75.
It seems there’s trouble in iPhoneland, Australia. No, I’m not talking about faulty or spotty 3G connections (although yes, that is a problem) and similar typical iPhone 3G stuff. I’m talking about iPhone customers getting billed ten times more than what they’re supposed to pay.
