Actually I think that minus the missing Text-to-Speech that CoPilot 7 is pretty good. I have been using it for around 2 weeks now and like it better than Travroute’s CoPilot 6.
The interface is less cluttered with a better choice of fonts. The main route is now highlighted in a more subtle green than thick black line. Buttons are larger and easier to use especially if you find using a stylus annoying (like me).
CoPilot 7 is also faster than CoPilot 6 in terms of start up time and route calculation.
If you are an advanced user like David our previous reviewer, you will miss the customisation of routes and profiles. However if you want a simple-to-use GPS for your pocketPC / Windows Mobile device that will get you to A-B without much fuss, then I recommend CoPilot 7.
I am still hoping that they will release a Text-to-Speech soon, however that’s not the biggest win factor for me.
