Catering to tweens in entertainment and a few other areas is proving to be quite lucrative. I haven’t seen a lot of phones and other devices meant for that age bracket though, but add this to that short list. The Samsung Tobi S3030 phones are colorful slider handsets from the South Korean manufacturer.

I’ve seen a lot of dual SIM phones here in my neck of the woods, but most of them are made in China and none have been from any of the major mobile phone manufacturers. Samsung’s already came up with a few of its own dual SIM phones. And now, the brand is adding another to its repertoire with the Samsung S9402 DuoS.

A new metallic candybar phone was announced right out of Samsung HQ to be presented during the Symbian Smartphone Show. The Samsung I7110 is a phone based on Symbian S60 with, not an LCD, but a 2.6-inch AMOLED screen.

I’m not sure why there hasn’t been fanfare around its launch, but it looks like Samsung really did come out with a second 8-megapixel camera phone after INNOV8. Named the Samsung M8800 Pixon, this 8-MP camera phone was spotted across the pond in Russia.

The Samsung M75500 is more aptly called “Night Effect” for its ability to glow different colors that look great in the darkness. The M75500 is the first Samsung phone to carry the Emporio Armani branding so I don’t reckon its price will be anywhere near those affordable mobile phones.

Live shots of an unannounced handset purported to be the Samsung i7110 have surfaced recently. It seems that the Samsung i7110 will take on the brushed metal finish of the Samsung Soul, which I happen to favor, by the bye.

I have no idea why Samsung chose to announce one of its phones the same day Steve Jobs yaps about the 3G iPhone in the WWDC. The official announcement was so subdued, people barely took notice. Anyhow, the SGH-i900 is now officially launched as the Samsung OMNIA.

Check out the new Samsung Instinct touted as the “3G iPhone-killer”. This footage was captured at this year’s CTIA where Brighthand reported Sprint will be selling the Samsung Instinct in June.
