RIM’s first flip phone is now available in Australia under Optus. While RIM failed to make a killing with the Pearl Flip due to mere entry level features, I’m sure at least a couple of you, readers, are interested. Optus and RIM teamed up with MTV to endorse the product hoping the young and the hip would like the phone enough to actually buy it.

A couple of rumors about RIM came out recently, one of which BlackBerry fans will surely be excited about. First off, a new version of the Storm now with US USDPA is reportedly bound to come out for the USA. But better than that, an all-new device is supposedly slated to be introduced during the Wireless Enterprise Symposium 2009.
