Everybody was amazed to see a new touch screen Palm phone, but there are some slip-ups Palm could fine-tune before the device’s release that’s rumored to be on 2009 (late September 2008 for Australia, exclusively on Telstra).

I guess it’s to be expected, what with the number of leaks that came out recently. Probably the sleekest phone Palm’s ever come out with to date, the Palm Treo Pro has just been officially announced. While it’ll be released unlocked in the USA, in Australia, it’ll be available through Telstra.

What’s purported to be the new Palm Treo played a bit of peek-a-boo with us earlier. Called the Palm Treo Pro, it was spotted in a flash presentation on a page in the official Palm web site that’s already been removed. Judging by the screenshots taken though, the Palm Treo Pro is a looker indeed.
