We’re delighted to welcome guest blogger Alister Cameron as Mr Gadget’s roving reporter at large, at the Mobile World Congress coming up later this month in Barcelona. Alister is an accomplished “blogologist” and has Australia’s second largest Twitter following, as well as his own well-respected blog on social media at alistercameron.com. He’s going to be guest blogging here for the next couple of weeks.
Along with my good buddy and Twitter guru Calvin Lee (@mayhemstudios), Alister will be attending the Mobile World Congress as a guest of LG, so we can look forward to some in-depth coverage of LG’s upcoming announcements about their exciting new tablet and 3D smartphone. Be sure to follow Alister (@alicam) on Twitter to keep up-to-the minute with all he’s up to. Plus, he might just be giving some things away to a few lucky people…
Hi gadget freaks!
Alister Cameron here
And first off, just let me say it’s a real pleasure to be blogging here on mrgadget.com.au, on behalf of my good mate Arnold Aranez and the Mr Gadget team. If you’ve been reading this blog for any length of time you know what an amazingly energized and capable guy Arnold is, so it’s going to be fun trying to match his passion and wicked skillz as I do the rounds at Mobile World Congress 2011 (MWC) over in Barcelona, bringing you all the up-to-the-minute latest news and analysis.
Even though CES was just a few weeks ago, a number of tablet, smartphone and gadget manufacturers have kept some big announcements and surprises up their sleeves for MWC; not least LG who are very kindly flying me over there to be a part of the action as a member of their “Twitter Team”. Their other two esteemed guests are Calvin Lee and Will Francis – both exceptional tweeps and tech-heads in their own right. It’s going to be fun!
