There really must be a sweet tooth in LG for the company to be naming its handsets after sugary treats. Just like the LG Chocolate, the new LG KP500 is slated to be released as the LG Cookie. Cookie?! Yep, I can’t imagine why either.

Like what was reported yesterday with the LG KC780, LG is coming up with a full touch screen phone that it’s touting to be the most affordable among the available touch phones in the market today. Called the LG KP500, it has the same build as the LG Renoir sans the powerful 8MP camera.
