If you follow me on Twitter (@mr_gadget), you may have heard me twittering about how much I love Street Fighter IV for the iPhone. I’ve had it for around 3 weeks but keep forgetting to sit down for long enough to show everyone one of my pre-recorded games.

Has Almost All The Features of Console Version

Even though I thought it would be impossible to give this game justice on a tiny screen like that of an iPhone but I was wrong! The onscreen controls are actually quite easy to use – in fact I perform my combos better on the iPhone than I do on a console with decent arcade controller replicas. Pulling out my favorite moves like the fireball and dragon punch with Ryu is a cinch!   Things of arguable value that are missing are the low and medium punch and kick buttons.

My only gripe with the game is that there are only EIGHT characters to choose from Here’s to hoping that upgrades will include more.

Street Fighter IV For iPhone Video

It had to happen sooner or later. Safari’s days reigning as the prominent browser on the iPhone are numbered with the very-soon-to-be-released (is a matter of hours in some places) Opera Mini browser for iPhone.

Reminds me of how for many years the general public didn’t have any other choice except for IE on Windows machines and how the likes of organisations like Mozilla / Netscape changed that. In this case, as evident from the video below, Opera have come out with a much more faster browser and one that looks better too.

It’s also interesting to note that the iPhone using Opera Mini is actually using the what’s-supposed-to-be slower EDGE network!

I’ve got my eyes glued to the Australian Appstore just waiting for Opera Mini to appear…I want to surf faster!

Do you miss your highschool days and wished that you could go back in time and relive those mostly carefree moments? The Zit Picker iPhone App probably won’t achieve the aforementioned but will make many of us more thankful that we are no longer plagued by pesky zits!

I especially hated zits that appeared in the middle of my forehead or inside my nose.
