I’m slightly cynical about the way that a prototype of the next iPhone would be left in a bar for any unsuspecting person to find. Nothing against Gizmodo, but what are the chances of one of the world’s top gadget blogs randomly finding one of the world’s most sought after gadgets / scoops in a public space. Apple should have let a smaller and obscure Australian technology blog find the device in a cafe in Melbourne! Hint hint wink wink tickle under chin.
At the end of the day Apple’s hype-generation machine worked superbly and we have a clearer glimpse of what the next generation iPhone will look like right?
The team at Gizmodo (love @bruff & @ellyhart) have done an exemplary job at shooting photos of the new device and explaining its revamped ins and outs.
