The other day, I have to admit, I received a stern look from a impatient driver who waited for me to cross the street – I believe his annoyance was caused by the fact it looked like I was reading email on my iPhone at the same too. In all honesty, I wasn’t and don’t. However, that may change with the new Email ‘n’ walk iPhone app (via Engadget). As its name suggests, using the iPhone camera, it allows you to see what’s going on as you type or read emails. No more walking into street poles or even better cars!

Do you miss your highschool days and wished that you could go back in time and relive those mostly carefree moments? The Zit Picker iPhone App probably won’t achieve the aforementioned but will make many of us more thankful that we are no longer plagued by pesky zits!

I especially hated zits that appeared in the middle of my forehead or inside my nose.

The Apple iPhone gets another nice app for the geography-loving folks out there – Google Earth. Unlike Google Maps, Earth doesn’t give you exact addresses and similar, but instead shows you a 3D terrain of the earth complete with representations of land formations such as mountains.

In typical Apple fashion, an independent developer filled in the gaps of what the iPhone should have had in the first place. Perhaps a more minor annoyance compared to the lack of copy and paste is the lack of landscape virtual keypad on email.

Australian multimedia college Qantm is slated to launch an iPhone Game Development course soon as part of its list of game development and design courses. I guess it was only a matter of time before a course like this comes up, but I can think of a couple of people who’d think this is crazy.
