It may be a small change, but for people who spend a lot of time on Google’s websites it’s hard NOT to notice – Google has changed its favicon! Apparently the new lower case “g” stands for infinity and represents the numeric value of google better…
The favicon is a little image (160×160) that appears to the left of the website’s URL address that appears in your browser. In the newer browsers that have “tab” functionality such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox, you’ll also see favicons distinguishing different tabs.
