Is it a bird? Is it a plane? *Bonks his noggin* It’s an E-Ten Glofiish X800 and it’s now available at Mr.Gadget. Yes, that’s right Glofiish is spelt with 2 letter “I”s not one…Regardless of this naming quirk, the E-Ten X800 is actually a very good PocketPC gadget. The E-Ten Glofiish X800′s biggest selling point is the GPS receiver built in, however the Australian model doesn’t come with any GPS software. While they sort out agreements with a GPS app provider, I recommend Route 66 GPS software which is great value at around $200.

You won’t find much details on this news page except an image of the upcoming gadget and that it will be showcased at 3GSM, Barcelona which happens at 11-14 February 2008. From the one-image-page we also see that the E-Ten V900 Glofiish features TV support in the form of DVB-H, DVB-T, T-DMB and DAB. Is that a little TV antenna I see poking out?
