During my weekend trip to Singapore, I (mostly) involuntarily found myself in the midst of many Blackberry VS iPhone debates. I was browsing our Blackberry Software Store today and came across this awesome theme for the Blackberry – !Reflect7 Carbon. Not only does it look great with it’s custom icons set before a black background but its also very functional too with Options, Applications Folder and Clickable Clock readily available.

This is an excellent theme. I purchased it for my BlackBerry Curve (8330) and immediately found it appealing to the eye and user friendly. I like the extra home screen location for the weather (or an additional app if you prefer) and find the menus and font to be very well-designed and easy to read. In addition, I would like to extend compliments for their customer service. I encountered problems with the menu screens on applications which are not compatible with transparent menus. I contacted the developer about this problem and within two weeks they had released an updated version which was compatible with all applications on my BB. Overall, I give it 5 stars based on appearance, performance, and customer service. I don’t often take the time to rate applications and almost never give 5 stars, so it is unusual for me to rank an application or theme this highly. Thanks for a great theme and for great support!

The Blackberry Bold 9700 has been available in Australia for the last 3 months or so. According to a review done on MobilitySite, the Blackberry 9700 looks to be a good upgrade from the Blackberry Bold 9000.

It works great I am going to Verizon tomorrow to cancel my tethering with them I am a “OTR Driver” Over The Road truck driver that really relies on my laptop to have internet access wether its for my AIO buisness or Fantasy Football or just e-mailing I need it when I need it not wait to drive till I find a rest area with WiFi available I am so glad I dont have to pay $30.00/month any longer… Yeah I had to pay full price of $49.99 but if you think what it would cost to keep Verizon’s tethering service $360.00/year It’s a steal Awesome Program thanks RIM for such a design as the BB and all it’s Capabilities

Great and useful app! I thought it would be handy for my notebook in the even I wasn’t in a wifi location. This is not a big concern for me but when they had a sale for about half off I jumped on it. Here’s Verizon’s advertisement for the new Blackberry Storm 2. According to them, lightening can strike twice; hopefully it’ll hit the right spot this time! I say this as we reflect on the bugs that were well documented on the web with the first Blackberry Storm.

Not only are those bugs fixed, but Verizon is also pushing its new WiFi capabilities, ultra-responsive touch screen and tons of applications available.
