So I had to use my wife’s XDAIIi to make a phone call the other day, and being the good husband that I am, I checked to see if the unit actually had enough battery power to do it. I was then reminded about one of the major flaws with that version of Windows Mobile : it didn’t show battery status by default on the front home screen. Pretty dumb for a device that has limited battery life.
Heck even the iPhone has a battery life indicator out of the box!
I thought back to the days I had a Windows Mobile device and the app I used to display battery power. Like a light bulb, the words “Battery Pack Pro” appeared to my mind’s eye.
