Here’s another movie that I have been hanging out all year for: The Last Airbender. For those who are familiar with the cartoon, like me, you’d probably be a tad confused why they didn’t use the name “Avatar” as part of the movie. But then it makes sense that calling it after previous released huge blockbuster wouldn’t be doing it any favors. Whether it’s called “Avatar” or not doesn’t matter because it still looks like a very cool movie. I loved the cartoon series and how the corny jokes made it so fun to watch. A little secret between you and me? I watched the whole series! 
The trailer seems to stay true (at least visually) to the characters that were depicted in the cartoon version – Ang is bald with that huge tattooed arrow on his head and can bend air! Effects look amazing! Let’s see if the director does a better job than the DragonBall Z Evolution flop.
