I was never one for MySpace, but I know enough social networking addicts to say that a lot of people would be thrilled that the MySpace app for BlackBerry smartphones is now officially available. Its release was long-awaited, but now MySpace addicts are given a way to down in their obsession even while on the go.

The Apple iPhone SDK opens up the world to third party app developers, which could mean great things to come from ordinary app developers that we wouldn’t even hear of otherwise. Unfortunately, since iPhone 3G owners will be exposing their phones to apps developed by unknown people, they’re also risking their phone’s integrity.

Accessing Facebook through a Windows Mobile device always meant using a browser and loading it like any other web site. Just last week though, Today Macrospecs, Inc. launched a Facebook app for Windows Mobile phones, similar to those apps for BlackBerry and Palm.
