Yes, just a few hours later from the photo leaks, Aliph’s new Jawbone is now official. Oh, and although we keep referring to it as the “Jawbone 2,” it seems Aliph prefers that we call it the “new Jawbone” instead. The new Jawbone is measured to be 50% smaller than the original version, so all you folks complaining about the Jawbone being cumbersome could take a second look at the new Aliph flagship product.

Hmmm. Just realised that perhaps we might have had the unexpected pleasure of a visit from an Engadgeterian?
Could the same Chris Zeigler who wrote a gadget review recently on our over-priced LCD monitors (just haven’t updated pricing in that area) be the same who has lately given us some insight on the new Aliph Jawbone 2 on Engadget?

Regardless which CZ it is, thanks for showing us the new smaller Aliph Jawbone 2 with improved charge connector. Our Australian supplier has been promising the Jawbone for weeks, but I now feel they’ll hold off till they can get their hands on Jawbone 2.
