Got back from the Philippines today and after doing some fiddling with my wi-fi router randomly checked the other available plans on Telstra Bigpond. I was elated to find that there were now faster ADSL plans available at a reduced cost however a little disturbed that I haven’t received any material on the new plans from Telstra.
I was on a BigPond ADSL Liberty (10GB) 512/128 kbps plan for $89.95 per month, which now isn’t even available in the current offerings list. Switched over to a BigPond ADSL Liberty (12GB) 1500/256 kbps for $69.95 per month – saving $20 per month, tripling my download speed and increasing data downloads by 2GB!
