After all the rumors preceding its announcement, the official unveiling of the 3G iPhone at WWDC was a bit anti-climactic. In fact, the mock-ups which circulated the web were actually quite well-done that what I saw wasn’t really anything new.

In a few hours more than 24, we’ll find out all there is to know about the 3G iPhone. Of course, by this time, we’re all already overloaded with rumors and leaked photos (a lot of them most likely to be fabricated), but here’s what’s known about the 3G iPhone for now.


Famous American technology journalist, Walt Mossberg, has casually stated that the 3G iPhone should be available in the U.S. within the next 60 days during a Beet.TV Summit. This means July, so perhaps around August for Australia? Perhaps I bought my iMate Ultimate 8502 too soon?
