A few weeks ago I received a Kogan Blu Ray Player featuring WiFi 1080P Full HD. Since then I’ve put it to good use watching some of my favourite DVDs and of course some new Blu ray titles. One of my all time favorites “Big Momma’s House” (I love Martin Lawrence!) has especially been getting a good run on the machine.

Toshiba have announced that it will no longer support the HD DVD format with manufacturing on for players and recordings ceasing as soon as next month.

Goodbye HD DVD, and let’s officially welcome Blu-Ray!
