Last week the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 went on sale in the US, UK, Germany and Korea. It was actually announced and showcased in MWC February this year however it’s taken Samsung a few months to iron out the bugs to get the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 to sale-ready state. It’s now ready and starting to move off the shelves. Whether or not it will be a blockbuster is yet to be seen.
What’s so different about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 versus all the other tablets out there on the market?

Not An iPad Killer But Still Good
“Is this an iPad killer?” No, I don’t think so at all. The popularity of iPad is testament that the world has mostly moved to interacting via their fingertips than styli.
For Those Who Prefer to Write and Draw
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will be useful for people who prefer to write rather than type and the highly sensitive and intelligent S Pen will definitely appeal to the artistic types. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will also attract those who prefer the “more-customisable” Android OS. I’m getting one from Clove for my wife for the previous reason. I really believe she’ll love it.
As a business tool, until I get my hands on one to play with, I can’t really give a verdict on how useful it will be. I believe it will depend on how quickly and accurately it can translate handwriting (especially semi-messy script like mine). From the sounds of it on sites like Engadget and CNET, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 just may do the job.
