LG Optimus Black Video – It’s the thinnest and brightest smartphone

It was at this year’s CES that LG Electronics clearly demonstrated how far they’ve come in the world of smartphones. I still remember this time last year when I was reviewing one of their first Android devices, the tiny LG GW620. Back then it was running Android 1.5 (Donut)!

This year, they’ve come up with two exciting offerings that form their new Optimus Premium Series: the LG Optimus 2X and the LG Optimus Black. Both received a lot of buzz at the Las Vegas convention and I departed with a yearning to own an Optimus 2X as soon as possible.

The LG Optimus Black on the other hand is also formidable device with its most noteworthy attributes being the super bright 4-inch NOVA technology display and slim design (only 9.2mm thick).  I was able to get a firsthand look at it with my fellow LG Mobiles Team members; @mrbrown and @teedubya.  We loved it! Now if only it also had a dual core processor…

You’ll see in the video below that after a full day of interviews and checking out LG gadgets we had to let off some steam with a bit of dancing – robot dancing that is!
