Our friends at I4U spotted that Apple has revealed their official case for the iPad on their website. Given its reasonably pricey tag and huge fragile screen, I’m pretty sure that one of the first things that Apple iPad owners will be doing will be trying to get a good protective case for it. The official Apple iPad case is light and features access to all the iPad ports such as power and headphone jack. One of the best features is that the case folds in such as way that you can sit it horizontally to view your photos – voila your iPad becomes a picture frame!
Features of the iPad Case:
- Soft microfiber interior
- Reinforced panels for structure
- Lightweight enough to carry anywhere
- Folds horizontally or vertically to hold iPad at an angle for viewing video or typing on the onscreen keyboard
- Holes for headphone jack, dock connector port, and on/off and volume buttons
Should be available from the Apple website mid next month for $39.
