Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Will Be Available From Telstra In May

For those looking to get a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 in Australia through Telstra, you may still have a couple of weeks to wait. I just spotted this on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Section of the Telstra Mobiles Website:

Register your interest for the new Android-powered Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, which will be available in May on Telstra’s Next G network. When the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is due to be launched, we will contact you so you can be among the first to purchase the device.

I’m hoping the extra wait is not tied with Telstra developing bloatware for the device…

Armold… the real name is not bloatware… its called ‘commercial interest’ and to be fair some links (tho very few)are useful… its that you can’t delete (or even move) useless links to the bottom of list so you have to take time & scroll past each time you access that tabs contents… pity the X10 does not have a dedicated keyboard, other than that specs are good… the search continues… where is the Palm Pre+ ?

Call it what you will but many find it unnecessary. Funny how in a move to make their brand felt on new devices they’re actually creating negative impact through terrible user experience.

I like Palm, but their days look like they’re numbered especially with all these exceptional devices coming out this year. Not sure how they can keep up let alone leap frog the current competition.

cannot agree more… but as the big T’s new business plans are now more competative (thru market pressure no doubt :) Just like little children who claim me me me or the person who gives a gift (e.g money) then gets upset on how it is spend(so not a gift a conditional transaction)…We pay for the phone!!!… hopefully they get the message sooner or later…& yes about the Pre… a real pity!! for the Wife.. might have to relook that LG slider
