I just got my iPad earlier this week and I must say it is an exceptionally good-looking gadget. A lot of it has to do with the huge 9.7 inch screen. If you have one, you’ll agree that despite the robust design of the iPad it needs protection – from scratches on the screen and to possibly add some type of buffer from accidental drops.

The silicon case and stand is the one that excites me because here at the cyber school we have an Ipad and a blue tooth keyboard but we need something to get the pad to stand upright… Anyways I would love to win that item.

Those clunky silicon cases just don’t work with an iPad. A Marware Eco-Vue is the way to go.

But I do like the thought of the screen protector so I’m putting my hat in the ring for that one. :)

Silicon case & stand, I find my iPad is easy prey to scratches on the bottom especially when put on a table surface. Also a stand is handy for watching podcasts whilst doing other things like cooking, etc.. Thanks Mr Gadget.

I like the cool styling and functionality of the silicon case and stand. The silicon case will provide excellent protection against scratches, is flexible for quick and easy removal and facilitates better grip of the iPad. The stand will improve typing and viewing comfort at various viewing orientation and angles with its ergonomic design.

I definitely like the silicon case and the stand. I mostly travel to restaurants with my iPad, and silicon material is definitely easy to clean and doesn’t leave the mark or smell of whatever got poured on it. It also has tight grip to almost all surfaces so it is very hard for someone (like a waitress or my 1-year-old nieces) to shove it off the table and scratch (or break!) my iPad.

The stand will be usefeul for me to put my iPad on top of my cupboard, out of reach from children, yet still keep it in sight so I myself wont become the victim of my own doing and can easily find where I last put it. We also have a lot of visitors at the house, so having the stand while the iPad is showcasing slideshows is definitely something I will always do when I have the stand. :)

The iLuv Transparent Silicon Case with Stand sounds like just the thing for when my wife is juggling a 2 year old, an 8 month old, writing articles (working), and cooking gourmet cupcakes for an upcoming toddler birthday party. She’s an absolute genius to manage all that she does while I’m at work, and still gets so much use out of the new iPad, but it’s definitely a two-handed device which would benefit greatly from being mounted on a stand from time to time.

iLuv the iLuv Transparent Silicon Case with Stand. The idea of the stand is great and would be very practical as a way of leaving it on a coffee table but mostly iLuv it because it reminds me of that carbon fibre look (very masculine) I work in the construction industry and the masculine look would fit in much better that the Pink look. Very cool how they have relied on the pattern to create the look of the case.

I went with a Belkin screen protector only $19 and also the Belkin Leather case with a flap to further protect the screen and I have to say that has worked well for me. Case looks professional too!

The screen protectors are sweet so I can do whatever I want without scratching the screen.

The silicone case is awesome so I don’t have to clean the iPad often.

I like the Silicone case because it lets the styling, great looks and functionality of the ipad be seen while protecting it. hey if you have an ipad – it’s a great tool protect it but let it be seen!

I share my iPad with my 2yr old. I use it with a keyboard and she uses it with an ice cream.

My preference is the screen protector. I actaully think the iPad should come with a screen protector. The fact the iPad is supposed to be a portable device that will go on trains, trams, tables and be shoved in bags kind of requires some protection for the screen, which will soon get covered in minor scratches. The clear case with stand is also nice, but the screen is most important.

You can’t use the ipad comfortably without the stand- it should be included in the pack as well as a screen protector. After all, all you do it continually touch the screen, so both items are an absolute minimum to using the ipad.

Which items I love? All accessories to a wonderful device like an iPad are absolutely brilliant! Love the way that an creative apple product like this sets the scene for equally as creative accessories such as the iLuv silicon case. And that iLuv stand is totally more loveable that a full blown iMac itself :) :)
