I have had a HTC Desire for 6 weeks. It is great in every aspect except the battery. I have downloaded “Advanced Task Killer” that allows for one click closing of user determined background running programs that chew up the battery. I have also dimmed the screen as well. That impoved battery life considerably. I am still going to buy a 2400 or 2500 maH battery though.

The features/programs that I use the most:
> Facebook
> Calender
> Web browsing

The is a reasonable number of freeware programs available for dowloading for the HTC Desire.

I’ve had my desire for a two weeks now, and cant put it down its replacd my ipod organiser phone computer & has high end recepition. This is Beautiful to use we done HTC

Sorry to hear that Mike. I think it would be a nice upgrade from your TP2. I’m still in love with the Appstore to make the move to the HTC Desire.

Arghh..if only phone companies give a 1 year contract to get the latest mobile phones.. I still have to wait for another year before I change my phone to an Android based HTC
