Home Screens Comparison: iPhone, Windows Mobile, Android, WebOS

Here’s a very interesting Youtube video by Brandon from PocketNow.com which compares the home screens of the world’s top smartphones : Apple iPhone, HTC HD2, Google Nexus One and the Palm Pre. Would have been nice if they included Blackberry and Symbian too. Still it’s a fast way to get across the main mobile OS’ in a matter of minutes.

It seems that Apple have the least customizable home screens but could this really be a bad thing? I think their approach has reduced complexity and confusion especially for people who are not as geeky as some.

I must say I like the moving background of the the Android 2.0 OS!
