Following on from the news that we finally received our (and possibly one of Australia’s) first batch of Novothink Surge iPhone Solar Charger Cases, we thought we’d share a Youtube video by Shinymedia taken at this year’s CES demonstrating how it works and the app you can use to show you all the battery info you’ll need.

I recently purchased an iPhone solar charger myself and I can honestly say it’s amazing.
My advice to anyone looking for a solar charger for their iPhone or any other smartphone for that matter is one with at least a 3500mAh battery capacity.
That’s the size I bought and it performs incredibly well. It also works on my iPad and iPod as well.
Look for one with a USB plug, that way you can charge almost any device with a USB power input.
