First Look At HTC Desire At MWC 2010

My friend Gunnar, founder of www.Prylkoll.se, who I met at the Seoul LG Blogger Forum was fortunate enough to attend the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this month.

As he was wandering around various stands he happened to get a first-hand glimpse of the much anticipated HTC Desire. The quick demonstration shows just how far ’s UI has come and also reinforces how much of a difference gutsy hardware makes. Put them together and you get a phone that is finally truly an iPhone-competitor.

Oooooh…I “Desire” it! :D but honestly, HTC is making too many phones

It’s a shame – I think the industrial design of the statistically-inferior Legend looks far nicer than the Desire. Either way, this thing is my next phone for sure. (Telstra is bringing it to Australia, which means support for the 850MHz band, which means 3G will work when you take it to the US :D )

@Michael I think it’s good that HTC are churning out more and more phones. They’re only getting better.
@Tim I like the 3G reference you make! I’m going to wait to see what Apple do with the iPhone before making any upgrades…
@Howard We’ve lost another one to HTC… what will the iPhone brigade do without you :(
