Windows Mobile 6.5 comes to life on May 11th

Next month at Tech Ed 2009, will officially be released. To be honest, I don’t really know how to react to upgrades of the platform having been burnt by so many other releases. It also doesn’t help that I have come to love the iPhone OS over the last year or so.

Let’s see how this iteration will turn out. Who knows, may have learned from the past and will present us with something worthy of our spending. Bring on Tech Ed 2009!

been using beta versions (now 21210 build) on my i900 Ominia and would say a good improvement on wm6.1. The OS is fast and functional

do not even carry stylus as can easily use finger, have installed an app called fingerkeyboard 2.1. for text/emails which works well. Have never used a iPhone as it had too many missing features for my daily use but as with all things ‘orses for courses’ :)

Yeah, Andy you may enjoy as had M2D installed as well (liked the layout and eye candy of the weather icons) even tried Spb v3 but since getting use to WM6.5 do not use M2D now and uninstalled spb 3 after a day. esp since installing the weather app on 6.5′s titanium home screen. The picture shown above is of the lock screen and not the home screen but even the lock screen brings up options when a call/text/email/missed call comes in
