Turn By Turn GPS App for iPhone : Somebody pinch me

Sygic, maker of GPS applications for a myriad of portable devices, showcased their turn-by-turn GPS native app for the iPhone at MWC last week. Despite the demo featuring everything you’d expect from a decent turn-by-turn GPS app, there’s still a cloud hanging over its official release due to red tape regarding Apple’s SDK and legal iPhone GPS issues.

While it would be nice to finally cross off this feature on my iPhone wishlist, I think it may be too late as the alluring Palm Pre and HTC Touch Pro2 will provide for my GPS fetish and more.

Still, must keep a close eye on this Sygic / iPhone partnership…

going to the dark side Palm Pre… i thought iphone (Apple) created the mobile phone and everything that runs on it… so suprised to know you even had a list… i just cut and pasted this here from my 2003 WM device…:)

Palah and this is why I am now swaying more towards the HTC Touch Pro2. I miss having a physical keyboard…

Touch Pro 2… do not know… the Palm Pre may be a goer (if the keyboard was finger friendly). but a ‘new beaut’ toy takes attention nearly daily of late…going to be hard for any company to keep prices up for long… and even be good for whole market if normal features become available on iPhone as one thing Apple do very well is market their brand and hence get others to lift their game
