Nikon is definitely the way to go. I bought a Nikon D90 recently and it’s on of the best cameras I’ve ever owned!

Hey there .. grt help .. But I ll always prefer a canon camera .. they are best in this … excellent clearity of pics .. and videos as well.. I myself is a proud owner of the canon camera .. I have checked many cameras before buying .. i took the same picture frm Canon , nikon, sony , panasonic, olympus and there were two brands as wel .. the clarity which was in canon was not in any other camera .. and reasobalbe too .. For cameras .. Canon is simply the best ….

My Pentax K10D did not, not I was expecting it, the amount of happy snappers that only carry Canon and Nikon.

I’m a total dSLR noob and recently started out with a Nikon D40. I love its small size and how I can alternate between producing very decent auto shots to experimenting with the manual modes. Perfect for learning and dirt cheap to buy.
