Last Thursday was one of the craziest days (weather-wise) I think Melbourne has seen in months. A fierce mini-storm raced through the city and many eyes were on the Bureau of Meteorology website to see when and where it’d hit. As it descended upon the CBD, I thought it would be an ideal time to download a weather app for my iPhone just in case the power went out. There were a couple of options on the Apple Appstore but in the end I decided to purchase Oz Weather based on the large amount of positive ratings and what appeared to be, clean and easy-to-use interface show in the screen shots.
I appreciated how the Oz Weather application is broken down into three simple sections:
1. Forecast - Gives weather information for today, tomorrow and a 7 Day Forecast

2. Current - Provides weather information for your default city and also provides

3. Radar - Provides almost real-time visual information of where it is raining

Highly Recommended
For AU$2.49, I can say that it was worth it’s price and served its purpose in keeping me informed of Australia’s weather! Highly recommended.
