Here’s another Nokia N97 video that I found on YouTube. Looks like a winner despite the exaggerated response times of the device on the demo
used a E71 for about a month… response times were very quick (after WM6.1)so no reason why N97 would be slow…will leave judgement until see in real life. Just hope Nokia fix their ‘new BT stack’ to work with a wider range of BT headsets. Sold the E71 as kept having random episodes of dropping/reconnecting BT (Z9i & I.Tech)headsets – even during calls
which drove mad. If that is sorted may upgrade i900 – the N97 does look like a winner.. time will tell!
Palah, Happy New Year!
Yeah time will tell how fast the N97 really is. 2009 may see me head back to a stylus based device as I miss that form of data input but we’ll see. You do realise that the Samsung Omnia i900 is not NextG compatible right?
Yo Arnold, best wishes right back to u!!!…. Not with Telstra NextG so do not care
…. but something for others to take note. Actually my first keyboard device was the E71 & now find the omnia not as quick typing…so only reason even looking at the N97 is it ticks quite a few boxes (e.g. large screen) and if the keyboard is as good or even better than the E71 can overlook it being a bit porky
Another one you may want to consider is the LG Incite. Have you seen it?
too b truthful did not inCITE any thing when seen but will take a look seeing u recommended
