Nokia N900 With Maemo Internet Browser Video Demo

Nokia N900

Check out this video of the upcoming Nokia N900 (to be released this month) featuring the Maemo Internet Browser. From the looks of this device, it appears that Nokia will bounce back nicely from the not-so-great success of the Nokia N97. I particularly like the zoom-in and out gesture at 2:37 -

Main Features of the Nokia N900:

  • 10Mbps HSDPA 3G
  • 3.5 inch 800×480 Touch Screen
  • 5 MegaPixel Camera
  • 32GB of internal memory
  • MicroSD Expansion
  • Slide-out full QWERTY keypad
  • Multitasking ability
  • 600MHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor
  • Supports Flash 9.4

What do you think? Drool-worthy?

I don’t like the slide out qwerty, I think it adds too much to a phones thickness. They should consider a touch screen qwerty like the iphone (which I have) you can really get some speed up once you get used to it.

Compared to the older phones out there with QWERTYs, this is actually quite slim. Each to their own :)
