CES 2009 has come and gone and many new gadgets were introduced to the world for the very first time. The new Nokia BH-904 Bluetooth Headset was one such gadget. What’s so special about it? Well for starters it has noise-removal technology that separates voice from noisy environments e.g. busy city streets, in your car or in shopping centres. The Nokia BH904 also has the ability to sustain two simultaneous connections; one can be to your PC (VOIP) and the other to a mobile device. And the last major standout point is its super quick charge time of 15 minutes to get 5 hours of talk time (if you want the full 8 hours talk time, you need to charge for around 40 minutes).
In terms of its form factor, I have never been a fan of the Nokia over-the-ear series as they tend to be quite chunky. I’ll have to actually try one to give you the real lowdown though – they may have improved how these sit on the ear. I like the adjustable sliding boom microphone!
Other Features of the Nokia BH-904 Bluetooth Headset:
- 53 x 19.7 x 10.8 mm dimensions
- weighs a mere 8.2g
- various operating keys such as Power on/off, Answer/End Calls, Mute Switch, Volume control
- 10 m operating range
- Bluetooth 2.1 with enhanced data rate (EDR)
