Last year we blogged about videos made by the Canon 5D Mark II Digital SLR; today we’re sharing Nikon’s response albeit it half the resolution, with their new Nikon 300s Digital SLR Camera.

hmm .. a nice video with good clarity .. but few months I bought a Canon digi cam which is really cool .. for camera I would always prefer Canon .. the best picture and video quality which is really cool .. .. rest each and everyone has their own preferences ..

I have canon SLR eos film and digital backs and a canon FS11 SD video camera both are great but am seriously looking at upgrading to the 500D.
The benefits of being able to shoot video from the same unit as well as having the clarity and optical zoom capability from the SLR lenses is just a winning combination.
I dont think the 720p lines is too much of a problem for most people shooting the kids or their holidays shot.
Now all they need to build in is a sim card and simple menu system so we can submit pics or video’s straight to flickr, our favourite blog platform or youtube now that would be a killer gadget.
Thanks for the really nice video. I do like the background music it’s peacefully slow. I do like the Nikon cameras. It’s so simple to use and I do like the picture quality.
