Yeah, love one… but having upgraded my iPhone 3G I’m enjoying my Blueant wireless stereo headset even more as it pairs effortlessly with my iPhone.

Re… Exceited yet? presenter spouting ‘iphone has redefined whats possible on a mobile phone’ (no doubt spewing cult like marketing blurb)… features like cut and paste, mms the massive 3mp camera etc … Yes i did get excited about these features… 5 years ago 
‘Redefining’ in ‘apple speak’ must mean we are just catching up with features the competition has had for years if we introduce them they will pay good money upgrading and say what Apple have invented… smart marketing… go to top of the class!!
Agree the iPhone has some great apps (some even functional)- when, ‘new’ the interface was fresh & looked good, but now find it lacking with no multi tasking esp against the palm pre.
not an iPhone hater… may even buy one when Apple invent multi tasking but ‘redefine whats possible on a mobile phone’.. pass the bucket, feel like going to be sick

Palah, the iPhone is so successful because it did all the things that PocketPCs did, better.
The App store is another huge factor in its success.
I for one am looking forward to upgrading to the iPhone 3G S due to the enhancements in battery and video.

Arnold, agree it has been successful,it has put style and at its launch a great interface…in the hands of the masses
did ‘all’ things that Pocketpcs did.. better… may of done better with features actually on the iphone but was the features of pocketpc’s like mms, cut & paste removable battery etc.. it didn’t have…. so ‘all’ things?
thankful for Apple and their ability to read the masses, they also woke up other companies to put bigger screens on phones and enhance ease of use etc… The thing not happy with is saying this upgrade…’redefined’ not what is possible on an iphone but mobile phones in general… sorry don’t like misplaced hype
honestly hope your new iphone 3G S will solve many of the things u hate about your iphone… its always a good feeling when that happens… so the Pre is out of contention now?

I agree there is a lot of hype but some of it is actually justified.
This new version of the iPhone will further solidify Apple’s grasp on the mobile market given the packaged improvements.
I must admit that I am a huge AppStore fan and there have been many times when I have been on the road and saved by a quick download.
The Palm Pre definitely looks like a fantastic device but I feel it is still an iteration or two behind.

The iphone 3 G S will be the best yet and will now appeal to more people… will buy the pre, for wife if it ever comes out… do not know what you mean a ‘iteration or two’ behind as seen a real life (although a bit rough – ready set go) pre v’s iPhone 3 G S and besides start up Pre performed quicker tasks than iPhone 3 G S…
