HTC Touch HD Review – Oozes style

One of my favorite smartphone review sites is Tracy & Matt’s Blog.

They always are up to date with the latest in the mobile gadget arena. I know it’s a bit late, but in November they posted a detailed review on the HTC Touch HD which was released in Hong Kong last month.

John, the reviewer liked it.

Here’s an excerpt from the HTC Touch HD review:

Where honestly do I begin with this one? By miles this is the highest end handset I have ever used and it oozes style

Having used the phone now for just under 1 week solid I have grown to enjoy it more than I first expected. My initial reaction was “God it’s big” (save the jokes!) and I had a chat with Matt telling him that I just wasn’t a fan however this view changed within 1 hour of using it.

The battery life particularly impressed me as I use WiFi constantly and found that it lasted around 12 hours more than the Touch Diamond that I was used to.

Over the week I had just 1 issue which forced me to do soft re-boot which I think was just a simple glitch that rectified itself quickly.

Should be hitting Australia soon, but no official word yet.

I can’t wait to see this phone in Australia. Does anyone know if there is a release date here yet?

I think Telstra also has a HTC Google Android phone on the way too. According to them it’s better than the award winning Palm Pre.

Well we now know that Telstra won’t be getting the next HTC Android phone because Vodafone has nabbed it. The HTC Magic:

I have one and it is terrible. The reviews lied! I’ve had a PDA Smartphone for years and decided to wait for this instead of the iphone.

The camera is woeful.
The touchflo interface over the top of Windows Mobile is vile. They are too different!
It is not easy to use.

I’m wishing I never bought it.
