How to protect your MAC from viruses and other malware

norton_antivirus_11_for_macYes, it is true – Macs are susceptible to malware too. In the past, they have been ignored by virus writers who predominantly focussed on the operating system with largest user base. This is changing, with more and more people using Apple machines. We can expect an increase in malicious intrusions on Mac devices.

Protect your Mac today
Symantec can protect your Apple Mac from viruses and worms with their Norton Antivirus Mac 11.0.

Protecting your computer from such things will save you time, stress and potentially money.

If you have teenage kids or people using your connection who download a lot of songs, movies and such from the internet, I highly suggest that you install something like Norton Antivirus MAC 11.0 as soon as possible.

Features of Norton Antivirus MAC 11.0:

  • Automatically detects and removes viruses and worms
  • Prevents virus-infected email from spreading
  • Protects against attacks that target software vulnerabilities
  • Works with new Mac OSĀ® X v10.5 (Leopard)\
  • Includes an all-new Norton AntiVirus dashboard widget
  • Delivers industry-leading protection in the background, so you can work and play without noticeable impact on performance

1. dont use your mac
2. if #1 is hard for you then just dont hook it up to the internet
3. or use a typewriter instead

I used to be a big fan of Number #1 but will be joining the Mac ranks later this year…

Nope, I have to disagree… Norton’s has let me down too often as Windows user, so when I switched to Mac I installed Avast! for Mac because Avast! for Windows protected my Windows machine so well!

Sure it is necessary to protect Mac as well. Yet, there are enough free anti virus software available so that this can’t be a problem for anybody :)
