We all know how cool DJs are. If you own an iPhone or iTouch, you can now acquire some of that coolness for yourself! (disclaimer: also dependent on your musical abilities). Presenting Touch DJ by Amidio which is available right now at Apple’s Appstore for download.
Not convinced it’s possible? To be honest you weren’t alone but after watching the video on the Amidio Touch DJ app below, I’m tempted to download it and actually think it’s worth the AU$23.99 they’re asking for.
Some of the main features of Amidio Touch DJ for iPhone are:
- Ability to mix without headphones (visual mixing)
- Ability to spin, scratch, speed up or slow down tracks with multi-touch gestures
- Samplers built in
- Inbuilt sound tracks
- Volume level normalization controls
I see this contributing to the rise of amateur DJ iPhones making names for themselves in night clubs. Remember the movie Step Up and how Mario used his Apple Macbook? Now all he’ll need is an iPhone and this app!
