Kensington Ci70 Desktop SetKensington have recently added a digital camera/multimedia-centric desktop keyboard set to their range of gadgets. The Kensington Ci70 Photosync Desktop Set features an inbuilt mini-USB cable to directly hook up to your digital camera or MP3 player for easy download of images and songs. I like the thinking here – how many times have we scrambled around trying to find that pesky misplaced cable?!

In addition, it also features an inbuilt standard USB port for other types of gadgets and dedicated multimedia media buttons that you can assign to your most frequently used or favourite applications.

kensington_ci70_keyboard_desktopKensington have deliberately made the Kensington Ci70 Photosync Desktop Set smaller than ordinary keyboards found on the market – it takes 35% less desktop space! Its design is low profile and compact which is perfect if you want to use it with other computers around your office.

The Kensington Ci70 is completed with a laser wireless mouse which provides precision movement for graphic design and gaming tasks without cables interrupting movement or work.

All up, this is a great value desktop particularly for those who are forever downloading images and songs from their camera or MP3 player! Good work Kensington.

Features of the Kensington Ci70 Photosync Desktop Set:

  • Download images from your digital camera, and sync your smartphone or MP3 player with the built-in mini USB cable or USB port
  • Wireless laser mouse tracks on almost any surface
  • Dedicated media keys and hot keys for instant access to applications, media controls and more
  • USB port allows you to use a flash drive or any other USB device
  • With a 35% smaller footprint, low-profile design and a sliding door the keyboard saves space and looks good doing it
  • Wireless mouse with removable receiver so you can take it with you
  • Set is ready to use out of the box—no pairing necessary

Specifications of the Kensington Ci70 Photosync Desktop Set:

  • 1 Mini USB cable
  • 1 USB 2.0 port
  • PC and Mac compatible
  • Wireless laser mouse

Wow! Imagine the clutter be gone!!

Hubby keeps on “stealing” my usb cable whenever he downloads his photos (his is somewhere in the mass of wires in his home office) Hah! With the Kensington Ci70, let’s see if he can still steal. :D

Being a media junnkie and travel freak, this desktop set helps me a lot to manage my digi-cam pictures and will be able to use this laser wireless mouse with pinpoint precision without having to worry about finding a smooth surface to use my optical mouse! and to add to it, looks good too!

Would have to agree, no more looking around for that pesky cable somewhere on the desk. Having one right at my hands would be very handy; rather than bending down to plug one into a USB slot, or to switch cables around.

The smaller desktop keyboard is definitely a plus too to add a little more space on my desk, for things other than cables too.

Subscribed. This idea is exceptional and could potentially save me a lot of hassle. I dump pics off the DC onto the PC every other day if not more frequently. My tower sits on the floor next to the desk, and I have to plug the cam cable into the front of the tower and sit the camera on top of the tower while I’m transferring the files. That’s all well and good until my either my two year old girl or my 8 month old girl comes along and decides to yank on the usb cord mid transfer :\ The camera hits the deck, and I end up with a bunch of corrupted files. The Kensington Ci70 Photosync Desktop Set would provide an out of reach solution to my problem, and dispense with the frustration of having to pull the mouse cord up from behind the desk every 10 movements.

Yay! Thanks Mr. Gadget! Thank you very much!

I was just transferring photos when I thought how handy it would be to be plugging the camera into the keyboard right now.

So fantastic! You guys are awesome!
